Plans for a new one-story building at the northeast corner of Central avenue and Evergreen place, East Orange, have been prepared by Nathan Harris, Francis Ph. Friedman and associates, architects of Newark. It will contain four stores and will be of modern design and equipment. The architects estimate the cost will be $50,000.

Wiss & Sons, jewelers, have leased the corner store and have retained William E. Lehman for the interior architectural work. The design for the Wiss store is to be ultra modern and will contain many interesting features, including invisible plate glass window, summer and winter air-conditioning, and glass brick panels.

The plate on which the building is to be erected has a frontage of 65 feet on Central avenue and 107 feet on Evergreen place. It is owned by the Wiss Holding Company and has been leased for a long term to Corporation Six of New York, which is erecting the building. Leslie Blau, Inc., and Riker and Company of New York were the brokers.
